Are you able to come to my house/to me?

As my service is mobile, I am able to travel to whichever location is convenient for you. Depending on your location, a travel surcharge may apply.

What do I need to do to prepare for my appointment?

If you need waxing or any form of hair removal, I suggest this is done 2-3 days prior to your appointment to avoid any redness or irritation. If possible, please come to the appointment with no makeup, cleansed, toned and moisturized skin. I thoroughly suggest on gently exfoliating your skin the night before your appointment so your skin has time to settle.

What do I need to bring to my appointment?

The more I know about you and your style and the occasion, the better! If the service is a wedding, formal or special occasion, I recommend that you bring a few pictures from magazines or the internet of makeup looks you like, as well as a photo or colour sample of your outfit (wedding, bridesmaid, formal). This will help me create a look to fit in with your style. If you have a favorite lipstick or product that you might like me to use, feel free to bring that with you.

How long does the makeup application take?

The makeup application times varies completely on the type of makeup and the number of faces being done.

For a detailed guide to makeup application time, please contact me.

What products do you use?

I use a variety of high quality products including Inglot, Napoleon Perdis, MAC, Bobbi Brown, NARS, Kryolan and Lancome to name a few. I regularly update my kit to keep up with the latest trends and products.

Will my makeup last and will I need to touch up?

The products I use are designed for maximum wear, particularly foundation and eyeshadow. However makeup does tend to shift as you eat, drink etc.

I recommend having a compact pressed powder and a lipstick handy at the event to make sure you continue to glow! I am able to provide you with a touch up kit of the products used for an extra cost.

A good idea for a wedding is to nominate a member of the bridal party to check your makeup before photos and throughout the event.

I am able to provide these products so that you have the same products used by me during the application for an extra cost. Alternatively I am able to make a list of products for you to purchase.

Should I get my hair or makeup done first?

I recommend having your hair styled first,  this way your makeup will not just compliment your hair style but will be fresh!

Do you offer hairstyling?

I am trained in basic hair styling, but I’ll be the first to admit hair styling is not my forte, makeup is! I recommend booking a hair dresser to do your hair, otherwise I am able to recommend some to you.

I don’t wear much makeup, will I feel overdone?

I personalise every makeup application to your specific needs,  so I will enhance your features, while still keeping a natural look.

I have sensitive skin!

No problem! I have a range of products used for different skin types. If you have concerns and/ or any allergies we can discuss them prior to your appointment.

What hygiene practices do you use?

I’m a hygiene freak! My makeup brushes are sterilised between each client and thoroughly washed at the end of each application. I use hand sanitiser between each clients and often more than once with one client. I use alcohol swabs on all pencils, lip and mascara brushes before use. All my mascara wands are used on one client only, and I also have disposable lip brushes.
